Absolutely everything!

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially sipping wine on the balcony while taking in the beautiful mountain views and having a delicious poached egg breakfast. The pool area was fantastic for some relaxation, with sun loungers that made it easy to unwind. The only hiccup was a few mosquitoes on the first day, so maybe packing some repellent would be a good idea! 😊

We had a fantastic experience at this lovely hotel! The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, perfect for our family. We especially enjoyed visiting the nearby Franschhoek Wine Tram for a scenic tour. Our non-service dog was welcomed!

My kids wished there were more activities for them at the hotel.

The location made it easy to explore local wineries within a short drive. The outdoor pool felt refreshing and the garden area looked just like the pictures on the website. Our room was comfortable with cozy beds and beautiful linens. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. However, the restaurant service was quite slow at times, especially during peak hours. Drinks in high heat should be served cold, not lukewarm. These minor inconveniences kept it from being perfect, but we still enjoyed our stay.

I adored the charming decor of the Protea Hotel By Marriott Franschhoek, with its bright and cheery floral wallpaper and lovely courtyard that felt welcoming and safe for senior visitors. The overall atmosphere was truly delightful.

I had a lovely two-night stay at the Protea Hotel in Franschhoek. The location offered easy access to excellent wineries and restaurants, while the friendly staff made us feel at home. Only downside was the limited pool seating. More options would enhance relaxation. A good experience!
